PhD Position Human Oversight in Edge AI at BFH and TU Delft (100)
What you'll be doing here
- This PhD position is part of 17 openings within the MSCA Doctoral Network "Training and Innovation in Reliable and Efficient Chip Design".
- You will work on exciting research and innovation projects focussing on transparency, human oversight, accuracy and robustness of Edge AI systems.
- You will have access to a specialized European PhD training program by leading industry and academic experts.
- You will work on industry-relevant topics on Edge AI research and development. Topics are subject to change.
- You will spend secondments with industrial and academic partners. Your PhD-awarding university will be TU Delft.
What you'll bring with you
- Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, AI, Information Technology, or related fields.
- Advanced skills in designing and implementing ML algorithms. Knowledge in the computer architecture is an advantage.
- Knowledge on XAI & Ethical considerations in AI systems.
- The ability to work on real-world problems in an interdisciplinary and internationally oriented environment.
- Good communication skills and an excellent command of English.
