PhD Position Human Oversight in Edge AI at BFH and TU Delft (100)
What you'll be doing here
This PhD position is part of 17 openings within the MSCA Doctoral Network "Training and Innovation in Reliable and Efficient Chip Design".
You will work on exciting research and innovation projects focussing on transparency, human oversight, accuracy and robustness of Edge AI systems.
You will have access to a specialized European PhD training program by leading industry and academic experts.
You will work on industry-relevant topics on Edge AI research and development. Topics are subject to change.
You will spend secondments with industrial and academic partners. Your PhD-awarding university will be TU Delft.
What you'll bring with you
Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, AI, Information Technology, or related fields.
Advanced skills in designing and implementing ML algorithms. Knowledge in the computer architecture is an advantage.
Knowledge on XAI & Ethical considerations in AI systems.
The ability to work on real-world problems in an interdisciplinary and internationally oriented environment.
Good communication skills and an excellent command of English.
