You'll play a pivotal role in designing, developing and testing parameters for our laser cutting machines

What you will be doing

• Design and development of process techniques for laser cutting and engraving, with focus on machines for our Laser cutting machines
• Analyze material properties and their interaction with the laser source in order to define laser parameters for different application scenarios
• Write and maintain accurate process parameters and test results documentation
• Develop and execute test plans to validate machine functionalities against requirements and specifications
• Identify, report and track machine software and hardware issues
• Collaborate with R&D team with the aim of integrating laser technology into new products and develop new solutions for existing ones

Your education & experience

• Degree in Physics, Engineering (mechanical, mechatronics, electronics), Materials Science or related field (5 years degree will be considered a plus)
• As an alternative, technical bachelor degree with minimum 3 years of hands-on industry experience in laser processing field
• Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical mindset and strong communication skills
• Fluent English
• Knowledge of Laser systems, optics and automation in laser processing applications
• Experience in testing, quality assurance or similar roles
• Experience with industrial lasers (i.e. IPG Photonics or similar) and CNC
